Can I visit the school to see it 'in action'?
Tours with the Principal are held each month - please click here for dates and a bookings. If you can't attend a tour, you can make an appointment with the enrolments office to visit the school during school hours. We also hold an Open Day in March or April each year, on a regular school day.
How long in advance do I need to apply?
We suggest three years ahead, although some parents register their children many years prior to enrolment. Casual vacancies exist throughout the School, so contact us to enquire about your application.
Are there any entrance tests?
Unless sitting for a Scholarship Examination, students do not need to sit an entrance test.
Do I need to pay the $1500 deposit for every child enrolled at THGS?
Yes, the $1500 is payable for each child. Entry to ECEC is also $1500 for all new applications after 1 January 2012.
Can my child change schools now and come to THGS straight away?
We will accept applications for immediate start if places are available. Please contact the enrolments office as soon as possible to discuss availability.
Does my child need to attend an interview?
Yes, each child enrolling in the school needs to attend an enrolment interview with the Principal, accompanied by at least one parent or guardian.
Will there be an orientation day before my child starts at THGS?
All children commencing at the beginning of the school year will be involved in orientation programs. This will vary for children entering at different times of the year.
